When a restaurant connects its Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Messenger to Zyda through the Facebook Business Extension, we access — with the merchant's authorization — the merchant's public profile, business email, and the Facebook and Instagram business assets and product catalog needed to enable an "Order Food" action and to synchronize the merchant's menu. We also use the Meta Conversions API to send order and event data (such as order value and hashed customer contact identifiers like email and phone number) to Meta on the merchant's behalf, to measure and improve advertising performance. We use this data solely to provide and improve these features and do not sell it. All Facebook and Meta data is handled in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. A merchant can disconnect this integration at any time from the Zyda dashboard, which stops any further data sharing with Meta.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Data shared with Meta through the Facebook Business Extension or Conversions API is also subject to Meta's own retention policies.

To request deletion of your personal information — including any data obtained through our Facebook/Meta integration — email us at support@zyda.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will verify your identity and delete the requested data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. You may also disconnect the Facebook Business Extension at any time from your dashboard to revoke Meta-related data access.
